Soviet Molniya Commander mechanical wristwatch with a red star design and 18-jewel movement. The watch was produced by special order for the Soviet Ministry of Defence. Molniya, meaning “lightning” in English, was a well-known Soviet watch manufacturer that also produced specialized timepieces for technical applications. The watch measures 45 mm (1.77 in) in diameter. The watch has been tested and professionally adjusted by a watchmaker.
