White Soviet Military Cotton Undercollar Podvorotnichok

White cotton military undercollar, known as a Podvorotnichok, used with Soviet Army military jackets and tunics.

The Podvorotnichok is a narrow strip of white fabric sewn onto the inside of the collar in the USSR Armed Forces. It was used to help keep the collar clean and protect the soldier’s neck from rubbing and irritation.
